The MO Robo series covers robot-controlled machines that are mainly intended for the comprehensive cutting of beams (H, U, L and I). They are also capable of cutting round pipes. Beams can be cut up to a web width of 1,200 mm and a weight of 12 tons .
If the various workpieces – beams and round pipes – are to be profiled, the machines are equipped with up to 9 CNC-controlled axes.
The machines are very fast in operation. The operator loads the work piece (beam or pipe) on the carriage or in-feed conveyor and inputs a part file from Tekla Structures or other detailing software. The MO Robo calculates the cutting path and sequence, moves the beam into position, and starts making all the needed cuts and features. It starts at one end of the beam and works to the other end, making all the cuts in one pass. Compared to traditional machines, the MÜLLER OPLADEN robotic system
